What customers say?

“ Long live simplicity, a trattoria like those of yesteryear! Last night we went there for the first time, for a dinner featuring asparagus in all its variations, or almost. The atmosphere is very simple and informal, perhaps too much so, but at the same time perfect for a convivial dinner as one would expect from a trattoria. Here, the kindness and attention to detail in the punctual and precise service punctuate a dinner based on high-quality ingredients. Excellent asparagus, sweet and perfectly cooked, left more or less crunchy depending on the composition of the plates and the size used to prepare them. The quality of the breadsticks, sourced from an ancient local bakery, is surprising. The agnolotti are superb, with a flavorful filling and a dough that melts in your mouth (just like my mother used to make them). Even the sausage and butter used in the sauce are impressive. I must admit, I was very surprised by the care taken in selecting the raw materials used. The wine on tap is an honest, still and drinkable Barbera (you can also choose from a Favorita or sparkling white wine). Special praise goes to the hot dishes, cooked to order and served still steaming hot. Upon request, even seconds were offered, which I greatly appreciated (and is somewhat expected from a trattoria). Thank you, thank you for your commitment, courtesy, and customer service. We'll definitely be back to try the other house specialties, such as fried frogs, fried and pickled tench and eel, and snails. We paid €32 per person for the full asparagus menu, consisting of three appetizers, a first course, a second course, dessert, coffee (not consumed), water, and wine. A 5-star rating for this trattoria, with its objectively fair quality/quantity/price ratio. ”

“ Typical Piedmontese trattoria, where you can eat eel and frogs, excellent value for money, family service, slightly long wait times. ”

- Andrea Gallo -

“ Excellent food in a family atmosphere. The service is attentive and fast. A true trattoria, just like in the old days, with generous portions. The place is simple but well-kept, but a bit noisy if you're unlucky enough to encounter large groups. The prices are more than reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the dishes. It's a shame that for those unfamiliar with the place, the entrance is unassuming and difficult to find, but that's really a minor point. ”

“ It was all very good in a fantastic country atmosphere. ”

- Giovanni Pollarolo -

“ A completely random but fantastic discovery! Feeling at home, that's all! Perfect Piedmontese fritto misto! And the best bounet I've ever eaten. ”

- Annalisa Acquistapace -

“ We are now regular customers.. Typical Piedmontese cuisine with almost forgotten dishes.. For example frogs, tench and fried eels. Stewed snails, mushrooms in all ways and let's not talk about the Piedmontese mixed fried food!!! From meat to vegetables and dessert!!! Extremely delicious abundant dishes!! It's always a pleasure to sit at their tables. ”

- Valentina Boano -

“ I've been there as a couple, with a few friends, and I even organized a lunch for 90 Vespa riders. Always helpful and courteous. Eating the Piedmontese fritto misto here is truly a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price. Congratulations! ”

- Nicola Pasquarelli -

“ The pickled eel is excellent, the mixed fried fish is excellent, the service is excellent, but the atmosphere can be very chaotic if there are a lot of people. ”
